Description
This authentic green tea grows on tall 400-year-old tea trees in the village of Komaen in Phongsali Province, Northern Laos. Only the best leaves are used. They are then roasted by hand in a big wok. After that they are massaged by hand and dried in the sun. This process takes about 3-5 days depending on the weather.
The unique taste is related to the picking season. From a shade of honey in the spring, to a hint of rice in the late season.
Good for about 30 – 50 cups of tea (depending on your taste).
