Description

This authentic red tea grows on tall 400-year-old tea trees in the village of Komaen in Phongsali Province, Northern Laos. Only the best leaves are used. The leaves will be left in the sun to dry for about an hour. After that they are massaged by hand. In about six hours the tea is fermented and dried another 3-5 days.

The tea is harvested twice a year, March-May and September-November. The red tea have a fruity aroma.

Good for about 30 – 50 cups of tea (depending on your taste).
